"GVA II" is a basic seismic control system that absorbs repeated vibrations using a uniquely developed phenolic resin. Even after experiencing repeated major earthquakes, it enables homes to remain livable. It disperses and absorbs seismic energy, minimizing deformation of the home. The newly designed arm, integrated with a friction damper, features a simple structure that does not interfere with the connections (junctions between columns and foundations/beams) or intermediate columns.
